Our Technical Capability

A research team consists of experts from six CPECC subsidiary design
institutes is working on ultra-high voltage power delivery technology
CPECC, as an integral part of the whole, has very strong technical
forces. It has advanced technical equipments, a matured research and
innovation system and an united and cooperative technical team and has
been being in a leading pasition in the field of scientific research
and standardization for survey and engineering of power industry of
China. CPECC has more than 60 scientific research results which won
the Award issued by tne Chinese Science Congress, more than 100 items
of achievements won the State Science and Technology Progress Award.
It has invented more than 50 items of patent technologies, and over
100 items of "the first" of making use of new technology in
the electric power development history of China.
In recent years, electric power technologies developed quickly. In order
to follow this trend, CPECC has set up its strategy of developing and making
use of new technologies of "Ultra-High Voltage Power Delivery",
"Ultra-Supercritical Unit", "Advanced Nuclear Power Plant",
"Information Technology " and "Renewable Energy" etc..
We belive that CPECC will be able to provide you with better and better

Information Technology
CPECC pays great attention to the information technology and makes
it use in upgrading our survey and engineering. We have built up an
integrated 3D computer-aided engineering system which takes network
as its basis, power engineering database as its center and project management
as its main stem. This system greatly improve the efficiency and quality
of our survey and engineering. For example, we use optimization software
and advanced Digital Photomap System (DPS) and Global Positioning System
(GPS) to optimize transmission line routing and resulted in 3-5% cost
saving and a shorter schedule.
CPECC has developed hundreds of softwares for servey and engineering,
among them dozens won the State Award for Excellent Survey & Engineering
Software.
